Public Communication Specialist

A Jakarta-based USAID-funded anti-corruption project seeks anexperienced Indonesian-national Public Communications Specialist.

The successful candidate for this one-year contract will:
1. Have at least five years private and/or public sector publiccommunications experience, will understand how to draft work plans andcommunications strategies, conceptualize public information campaigns,and articulate their goals to both Government of Indonesia partners andprivate sector sub-contractors;

2. Will be familiar with the production of a variety of publicinformation materials including posters, pamphlets, radio PSAs etc, andthe organization of seminars, workshops and 'town-hall"-style meetings;

3. Strong writing skills, the ability to synthesize data and developclear, practical and timely plans for action are extremely important,and

4. Possess excellent spoken English language skills.

Knowledge of non-banking financial institutions and governmentprocurement practices, experience liaising with non-governmentalorganization and immediate availability are all valued.
