DAI-AMARTA is seeking applicants for the position of Agribusiness Commodity Program Coordinator, to be based in Makassar. He/she will be responsible:
a) to coordinate, supervise and manage program implementation by field staff for the AMARTA nutmeg, seaweed and rubber activities;
b) to help produce training materials as well as evaluating technical recommendations for AMARTA program(s);
c) to organize and conduct where necessary technical training activities in these various value chains;
d) to monitor and evaluate AMARTA program activities linked with training, and activities linked with value chain development primarily for nutmeg, rubber and seaweed (but possibly for other commodities);
e) to collect and provide accurate analysis on impact and progress of AMARTA activities with other stakeholders and partners;
f) for monitoring and reporting on program activities to include bi-weekly, quarterly and monthly reports to be submitted in English to the RCA and SCA.

He/she will work closely with Senior Commodity Advisor/Regional Commodity Advisor SCA/RCA and other AMARTA staff, technical staff, local government and potential stakeholder to develop activity plans.

For this position, good agricultural value chain experience is a requirement, extensive experience in submitting progress reports, good analytical skills, a minimum of Bachelor's degree, fluent in written and spoken English.
