International Relief and Development, Inc. (IRD), is a non-profit organization specializing in international development and humanitarian assistance in over 20 countries.

IRD works with a wide range of partners to design and implement, and provide technical assistance in the areas of health, economic development, relief, infrastructure, civil society and food security.

IRD Indonesia is inviting dynamic, committed, experienced and highly motivated candidates to join our team for the following position:IT SUPPORT

General Description of RoleHe will be responsible for basic information technology functions relating to the development and maintenance of technical specifications for computer hardware/software, LAN, updating hardware/software, anti-virus management, e-mail, development and maintenance of the IRD web site, emergency support and any other relevant IT operations.

Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper installation, maintenance and updating of all IRD computer systems including:§ Development, maintenance and administration of LAN and network servers to provide reliable network services such as sharing printers and other resources;§ Maintenance and manage the e-mail sub-system based on client-server applications;§ Security and protection management of LAN/mail system based on firewall and antivirus software§ Desktop and laptop upkeep, both software and hardware component;

§ Internet connection upkeep;§ Schedule and maintain weekly back-up system;
§ Develop and maintain IRD-PABX phone network including switchboards, extensions, facsimile etc;§ Emergency support and any other relevant IT operations;
§ Provide substantive input and advice to IRD senior management regarding the data bases development to facilitate good project management in order to take a leadership position in their development accordingly;
§ Assist in developing the technical specifications for computer hardware and software procurement;
§ Consistent with the IRD¢s efforts to promote equal opportunities in the work-place, incumbent will make all job-related decisions in accordance with IRD¢s antidiscrimination policies;
§ Any other duties as assigned by the Country Director/Deputy Country Director Required Qualifications
§ University degree in computer science or similar field (relevant experience and another university degree may substitute for a degree in computer science);
§ Excellent written and spoken English and Indonesian language skills;
§ Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively;
§ Good knowledge of LAN and PC maintenance, software, anti-virus packages and any related information technology equipment;
§ Experience in developing and maintaining the websites§ Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team;
§ Willingness to travel when necessary;
§ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
